Myosenji Temple
This temple – home to the only five-storied pagoda in Niigata Prefecture – was built in honor of Nichiren, a Buddhist saint, by Endo Tamemori. Endo served the retired Emperor Juntoku.
Shukunegi
These streetscapes feature boat-shaped buildings that recall the prosperous era in which ships were built here.
Onogame
This gigantic monolith rises 167 meters from the water. From the summit, you can view the entire Sotokaifu Coast.
